Posted in luxury travel  by admin on November 23rd, 2008

Looking for A luxury Hotel in London? Here a three of London’s Luxury Hotels: The K West Hotel, The Athenaeum Hotel, and The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel

Body:
The K West hotel in London is a very chic well designed luxury hotel. The K stands for a Kerry Hotel. It is very contemporary with clean lines and full service. It is located outside the congestion zone of London but minutes from the West End. Notting Hill and High Street Kensington are just minutes away and if you take the Central Tube you are 10 minutes from Bond Street.

It’s excellent and stylish restaurant has a brand new menu crafted by Chef Sam Sweeney. It has beautifully been redecorated with leather seating in rich reds and blues, with dark wood, stainless steel and glass. It is pricey but delicious.

The K Spa is absolutely luxurious. It is a perfect cosmopolitan retreat allowing you to spend some peaceful calming time while being pampered. They use E’SPA products and have a dedicated and skilled staff. Their many treatments will enhance your lifestyle in an holistic and enjoyable way. They even have Spa lunches.

Another fine hotel and spa is the Athenaeum, a family owned and run luxury Hotel group in the United Kingdom. Their staff is friendly and committed to first class service. Their other properties are the Grove, Runnymede Hotels and Spa on the Thames and Greengarden House which are serviced apartments just off Oxford Street. The suites and rooms combine English elegance with modern technology. There are rooms that have gorgeous views of Green Park towards Queen Elizabeth’s Buckingham Palace, giving you a sense tranquility in bustling downtown London.

The food served in the dining room is definitely English style and world renowned. They have dining throughout the day using local products whenever possible. Valet parking is available for all diners.

The spa at the Athenaeum, which is exclusive to their guests, is a place to relax after the hustle of central London. They have a full roster of services or just rejuvenate in the Jacuzzi.

They have stylish business meeting rooms melded with 21st century technology. These beautiful rooms can be transfixed to elegant private dining for weddings or any special occasion.

The third luxury hotel is the four star Chesterfield Mayfair discreetly tucked off Berkeley Square. The atmosphere is calm, quiet and very efficient. The Mayfair offers contemporary convenience in a great location. It is one of eleven outstanding luxury hotels sprinkled around the world run under the Red Carnation Flag. Their staff is utterly committed to attentive service and to make your stay very enjoyable. All of the Red Carnation hotels were thrilled to receive the Greater London Training Award for outstanding achievements in training and personal development.

They have a Library, the Butlers Restaurant, an airy Conservatory and an intimate bar. The food is excellent and the staff superb. They are in an excellent location that is just minutes from Bond Street, the perfect location to experience London. They do not have a spa so this may be a deterrent if you are looking for that kind of facility.

Any one of these three hotels will be a pleasing experience for those that enjoy quality and excellent service.

Luxury Hotels and Condo Hotels Around the World

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on November 21st, 2008

There are many gorgeous Luxury Hotels and Condo hotels worldwide. Because most condo hotels are or were luxury hotels, you get outstanding amenities and spectacular views in wonderful locations.

The most recent innovations in the second home industry are the introduction and rapidly increasing popularity of luxury fractional real estate and the condominium hotel, two of the fastest growing segments of the real estate industry today. It has been noted that the luxury fractional or private residence club concept has become attractive because property values in popular resort areas has skyrocketed out of reach for all but the wealthiest buyers. Buyers benefit by owning a property in a luxury resort that they can use for themselves, and take advantage of the high level amenities.

Think of all those amenities you have when you go to a luxury resort. You get daily housekeeping as you would in a luxury hotel. Another factor to keep in mind, if you are buying the condo hotel as an investment, is that when you are reselling a condo hotel unit, you’re selling not only the actual unit but also the luxury lifestyle that comes with an amenity-filled, high-service property.

What could be more perfect that owning a luxury vacation home at a landmark resort and receiving rent revenue whenever you’re not using it? The properties are usually large, high-rise, luxury hotels operated by big names like Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Sonesta, Starwood or Hilton.

After all, you have worked for an entire year, just to be able to afford a week of luxury and serenity. Most people do not mind splurging on a luxury villa, if they know that they can get everything else for a bargain.

If you plan on taking your pet with you, luxury hotels like the Ritz Carlton and Onyx will treat your pet like a king. First class service is the forte of a luxury hotel, so go ahead and indulge your senses.

Some of the luxury hotels in Boston are named as the most exclusive hotels in the world. A little farther away but within a ten-mile radius are The Hampton Inn, The Westin Hotel, Boston Harbor Hotel, Copley Plaza hotel, Radisson Hotel and The Ritz Carlton, one of the best known luxury hotels in Boston. So, when you want to live in the lap of luxury or in a relatively cheaper but comfortable accommodation, you will have a wide choice when choosing a hotel near Boston College.

A beautiful luxury hotel near Agra (the site of the Taj Mahal) is ideal for weddings. From the rich history of its palaces to the gorgeous landscaped gardens of the luxury hotel to the serenity of the floating palace on Ramgarh Lake…everywhere you look there is pink…the color of romance. If you are on a tour and are on the look out for unadulterated luxury, there are many hotels in India from which you can pick and choose.

There are also luxury accommodations in Blackpool, a coastal destination in the United Kingdom, for those looking for a fancier vacation. But book this early; they receive 4 million visitors yearly. One of them is a four star hotel in Blackpool overlooking the sea, Courtney’s of Gynn Square is a fine Victorian building amidst the beauty of Gynn Gardens, 20 minutes walk from the Tower and just 400 yards from Gynn Square tram stop. This lovely hotel still retains the glory of its past and offers all the modern facilities; Courtney’s is all you would expect from a hotel of this class.
When it’s time for your next vacation try out a Luxury Hotel, or if it’s time to make an investment in a property, think about the Condo Hotel for years of enjoyment and a source of income.

Destination India - Vacations and Luxury Travel

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on November 5th, 2008

For those of you who have always wished to visit India, here are some tips on planning the most beautiful vacation of your life.

The first step towards planning an Indian vacation is to get a visa from one of the Indian consulates close to your place of residence. You would need to submit two passport size photographs, a visa form and your passport along with the visa fees at the consulate.

In the mean time you can begin planning the places you would like to visit on your trip. Depending on your time of travel to India vacations can be planned according to the climatic conditions in a particular region. The best time to visit the northern plains in Rajasthan and the beautiful beaches of Goa is from September to April, it is nicely warm and sunny and ideal for sightseeing as well as relaxation. Rains in Kerala and some other parts of the south extend from May to November, therefore it would be advisable to plan your South India vacations between December and April. If summer is your chosen time of travel India offers numerous holiday destinations such as the cold desert of Ladakh with its unique landscape and culture or the green valleys of Shimla and Rishikesh for lovers of nature and sport.

With its charming mix of tradition and modern, India is a fascinating experience. If it is luxury you are looking at, let India surprise you with the magnificent forts and palaces, which you can not only visit but can stay in as well. Treat yourself to the sights of exquisite marble temples, the sounds of the gushing seas, the smells of the spices and the rustle of the silks. Let yourself be pampered like a Maharaja and Luxury India Travels will soon be etched in your memory.

If you are travelling with children to India vacations will be a truly memorable experience. With its vast variety of wild animals and unique activities, India promises you a journey right out of The Jungle Book. Elephant rides, camel rides, Jeep safaris, toy trains with steam engines are some interesting activities for children and grown ups alike. In case the South is your destination of travel India has unique options for your stay including tree houses in the jungle and charming villas on plantations, where children can help take care of the domestic elephant.

You need not worry about your health and safety. No vaccinations are prescribed for travel to India, however one could take prophylactic treatment for tetanus and malaria. Normal precautions with regards to safety should easily see you through on your trip to India. Clothing depends on the time of the year, however cotton is the best fabric for all regions except the hills, where thicker clothing would be needed.

Where To Stay In Benidorm, Spain

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on January 19th, 2009

If you are planning a trip to Benidorm, one of the more popular cities of the Alicante province, you will find that there are many Benidorm accommodation options from which to choose. Tourism is central to this region of Spain, particularly Benidorm which offers accommodations to meet the needs and preferences of everyone. In fact, there are over 170 hotels in Benidorm ranging from basic to luxury hotels which gives you the opportunity to find a hotel with your desired amenities, in your preferred location and within your budget.

You can research accommodations on the internet where you can compare hotel and property rentals to make the best decision. However, begin your search early especially if you are looking to travel during the summer season. The summer season is the busiest time of the year for these coastal cities and the hotels, apartments and villas fill up quickly. For summer travel, it is recommended that you make accommodation arrangements at least six months in advance. During your search, you should compare not only the prices but the entire package including the property’s amenities, proximity to attractions of your interest, restaurants that meet your tastes and style and generally what is important to make it the best vacation for you. If you are traveling as a family with young children, a hotel with a pool or other activities for children is something you definitely will want to consider. If the beach is the focus of you vacation, you will want to find a convenient beach front hotel. There are many things to consider, from nearby nightlife, sightseeing opportunities, accessibility of transportation and, of course, price. Larger hotels may have the swimming pools, restaurants and be closer to attractions than the smaller hotels or apartments, yet these small places may be closer to beautiful sightseeing opportunities. Likewise, when comparing accommodations, you must assess what is important for your vacation.

In addition to the considerations above, you should consider how long you will be staying. If you plan to stay for a longer vacation, renting an apartment may be the better option and more budget friendly than a hotel. Renting an apartment is often the preference of those traveling as a family, since they may prefer the privacy and “home” environment as compared to a hotel. You can find rental apartments or villas through travel agents based in Benidorm or even online, but a travel agent located within Benidorm will probably be able to give you more quality information on the best properties to rent and the rentals which are available. Another option, though, is to deal directly with the owner of the property. Many individuals purchase apartments as second homes, or vacation homes, and rent it out when they are not using it. Property owners may advertise available properties online or in travel magazines. Though you may have to do more searching to locate an owner yourself, you can save money by not paying a commission to the travel agent.

Finding The Best & Cheapest Cruise Deals Online

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on January 17th, 2009

For those who have wanted to take a cruise but tight budgets just won’t allow it, there are easy ways of finding the cheapest cruises. There are many travel agents out there with great deals for cruises. You can also go directly to the cruise line to see what specials they may be offering.

Sometimes, booking your cruise online can get you a better deal, as many travel agencies try to promote on the internet for travel needs. You can take care of most of your travel needs with just a click of a mouse, making the internet your one stop shop for your vacation. The price you pay depends on what type of cruise you choose.

The next step is deciding which cruise line you want to go with, and there are many to choose from. The most popular cruise lines are: Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess, Costa Cruise Lines, NCL, Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Silversea, Windstar Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line, Uniworld River Cruises, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

You can also decide from luxury cruises, sail ship cruises, river cruises, seniors cruising, golf cruises, and anything from weddings and honeymoons to business incentive and education on vacation can also be found.

The cruise industry is growing all the time. More people are taking to the seas for adventure and relaxation. The nice thing about a cruise ship is that it helps you to slow down and take life more casually, because you aren’t racing to get to some destination. Cruising is all about the journey. While the destination may be memorable, even more memories will probably be made on board the ship.

If you’re looking for a luxury cruise deal a traditional travel agent may find you a better deal if they can set you up with a group deal. The agent can book several passengers at once, often getting a “bulk” discount.

You may want to be careful with some of these deals, however, as they may require you to travel as a group and do everything together. And for the hundred or so dollars you may save, you could be relinquishing some personal decision-making in the recreational activities you take part in.

Depending on the type of cruise deal you choose, all-inclusive generally buys you more for your money. These deals supply, as the name implies, everything. Transportation to the port from which you will depart as well as return, all food and beverages during the cruise and entertainment packages while on the vessel.

Depending on how much time you plan to stay in your stateroom, the need for deluxe accommodations should be considered. If you plan to spend the majority of your trip locked in your room, then it may be a good bargain, but the best cruise deal may be found with the smaller rooms you plan to use just for sleeping and storing your belongings.

There are a wide variety of onboard activities to choose from that usually vary from one cruise line to another. This is one of the most important decisions you will have to make, as you want to be sure you will enjoy yourself during your time spent on your trip.

When looking for cheap cruises, you will want to plan your trip with a few extras so you will not be disappointed. It also helps to have a flexible schedule so you can have a better choice of things to do on your cruise.

You will want to travel in the off season to get better values as summer months and holidays tend to raise prices and the good deals go away. This makes it a bit harder if you have children that are of school age as they would have to miss school to go on vacation. During the peak seasons, cruises are usually booked up with regular fares, so chances of getting a good deal then is highly unlikely.

There are many ways to save on your cruise. You just have to do a bit of homework when planning your trip. Many cruise lines will offer a special for families, offering the “children are free” option. This can be an extremely good deal if you have more than one child or if you are traveling with another group that has children.

Check local newspapers as they always show good travel deals and check with travel agencies to see what offers they have available. Don’t forget to check the internet for deals as well. Travel websites are always competing with each other for the lowest rates, so you can use that to your advantage.

A Bahamas Family Vacation Is The Required Prescription

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on January 15th, 2009

The kids are back in school; extra curricular activities are demanding constant shuttling of kids from point A to point B and then back again; the family dog needs attention from a pet groomer in more ways than one and the house needs cleaning and repairs. So why in the world would you be thinking about a Bahamas family vacation at this time in your life?

This is the best time to be thinking about a Bahamas family vacation. Make plans now so that when the weather turns cold your family turns south for a tropical paradise bonding experience all families should enjoy.

The Bahamas are located off the coast of Florida, about one hour of traveling distance. The islands are located near the Atlantic Gulf Stream making the water temperature an average of 80 degrees year around. Starting to get the mental picture?

The beaches are white and sandy with more water activities than you can dream of. Swim with the dolphins, snorkel along the reef, or scuba dive with the sea creatures. Brilliant colors combined with sun and sea fresh air will create memories that cannot be lost.

If splashing in the sea with your family is not the required prescription for enjoyment then head over to Paradise Island and the Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas. Luxury accommodations are waiting to pamper you and your family for the most grand Bahamas vacation ever.

There is no shortage of activities on Paradise Island. The Atlantis Resort has a 14 acre waterscape filled with water slides sure to excite kids of all ages. Dad and mom can head over to the quarter mile lazy river ride and soak up the sun. Don’t forget the sun tan lotion!

The Atlantis Resort has eleven different pools with smaller kiddies’ pools as well. Plenty of Marina Village shops are nearby for those souvenir purchases.

If you are looking to book your Bahamas family vacation, check with your local travel agent. There are also many online Bahamas travel package options available from the major travel web sites.

Some of the travel packages will be all inclusive meaning that you can pay up front when booking your trip for things like meals and snacks and then relax during your vacation not having to worry about paying for these items. Just make sure when booking your package you know exactly what is included. The savings in cost may also cost you flexibility in choosing where you dine.

Shop around for airfare to the Bahamas. Most of the major airlines fly into Nassau International Airport, located in the Bahamas.

The best time to travel to the Bahamas would be from November to May. This will avoid the hurricane season and provide the warmest escape from your cold, northern winter weather.

Take time out now and plan your family vacation. It will be time well spent and long remembered.

Source Around for Good Cruise Deals

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on January 14th, 2009

Everyone wants to take a vacation at some point in their life. Most people, deserve some time off more than they realize. However, not everyone has the money to be able to do so. If you’re on a budget and want to take a much needed and nice vacation, you may be able to find some wonderful cruise deals if you’re willing to do some research. The best way to find cruise deals is to remain flexible. For some people, their schedules don’t always allow that. They may not be able to escape work with incredibly short notice. But, if you’re able to get a scheduled week off ahead of time and wait to the last moment to find cruise deals, you may end up saving a great deal of money.

There are lots of different vacation options. I recommend cruises simply because they may not always be filled to capacity and if the cruise line can get people to fill the vacancies, they obviously make more money. So, they offer some amazing last moment cruise deals. These cruise deals usually do have specific times and days that they are leaving, meaning that your schedule does need to be flexible. I’ve known people who have gotten cruise deals for half price and come home raving about their luxury vacation. I personally do not have the flexible schedule that allows me to travel at the last moment, so I utilize my own creative research skills. If I’m looking for cruise deals, which happens once a year, I am not content to settle for and purchase the first price quote that I receive. I get at least 5 different quotes and schedules to choose from. That way, I know that the best cruise deals are and feel like I am in control. It amazes me at how much more some cruise lines charge for the exact same vacation
as another competitor. Had I settled for the first cruise deal I had found in my research, I would have paid almost $1,200 more than what I ended up paying.

Finding cruise deals isn’t as difficult as you would think. It does require some time on the internet or on the phone. If you don’t enjoy researching vacation or cruise deals, you may want to utilize a travel agent. You can tell them what your schedule and budget is and let them do the work for you. Sure, you may end up paying a small fee but still end up paying less than what you would have if you’d settled for the first deal you came across. Travel agents can find you cruise deals and get everything organized for you.

No matter what method you choose for finding your dream vacation or last minute getaway, make sure you have a wonderful time.

How To Find The Best Deals On Discount Cruises

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on January 11th, 2009

With the high cost of living, finding ways to save money is on everyone’s mind. We clip coupons for groceries and even dry cleaning, shop at discount and dollar stores and buy generic brands instead of name brands. The savings add up over time, enabling you to do more with your money.

Many people use the savings to go on vacations but they might not be getting the most for their money. People love cruises because they can take you to different destinations for one price. The food is great, the scenery is fabulous and the entertainment sure to please. The problem is that many think they can’t afford what they feel is such an extravagant vacation, so they choose other less expensive and less satisfying ones. There are many sites that offer luxury cruises at discount rates and all you have to do is some research to find the one that’s right for you.

Many of these sites you have probably already heard of such as Travelocity, Expedia, Yahoo and Orbitz. There are also many more. As you explore these other sites, be wary because not all of them are reputable. It’s important to verify the veracity of the site before you give out personal information.

Another alternative way to find great rates is to go directly through the cruise lines themselves. Many offer special rates at different times of the year. Find out if they offer discount rates for last minute bookings. Sometimes people will book a trip and cancel, so they want to fill these vacancies. You might also be able to find this same feature on the online sites that you visit. If you’re planning a last minute getaway, this is the way to book it.

If you are uncomfortable using online sites, afraid to put your personal information on the web, or don’t want to call all of the cruise lines to try to find and book your perfect vacation, you can go to local travel agencies. They are able to do the research for you and make all the arrangements as well. If they’ve been in business on the same corner for years, you can pretty much be sure that they are reputable. Also ask your friends for the names of agencies they might have used, so you will have a personal reference to go by

Yet another alternative is Triple A. They not only offer roadside assistance, but travel arrangements as well and you may be entitled to a discount. Another membership that you might already have that offers travel arrangements is AARP. They have many discount plans that they offer to seniors. These include not just cruises but airline discounts as well.

With just a bit of research, you can be sailing the high seas in no time at all.

There is More To Cheap Motels Than Just A Bed And TV

Posted in luxury travel  by admin on January 6th, 2009

Booking a cheap motel online has many benefits. The main benefit of booking a hotel online is the cost. It’s typically cheaper to book a hotel stay online. The online reservation services typically get a discount from the hotel itself for their purchase of the unbooked rooms. The online reservation service then passes that discount on to their customer.

Another benefit of booking cheap motels online is that not only is the consumer able to compare each motel’s prices but also the amenities that the motels have to offer, which the room occupants might need, such as a hair dryer, internet connection in their room and/or lobby or a continental breakfast. Many of the cheap motels offer a basic continental breakfast which typically consists of cereal, bagels etc. Lastly the consumer is able to view pictures and also the opinions of other travelers, about the motel, so that they can get an understanding of what it is that they are booking.

Sometimes it is best to sacrifice luxury for location. Many times the cheap motels are at a walking distance of major attractions such as theme parks, beaches and museums. This makes it ideal for the traveler who doesn’t want to be holed up in the room all the time. The traveler gets a reasonably priced place to sleep whilst spending the day seeing the sites and taking in all the local flavors that their travel destination has to offer.

A cheap motel doesn’t mean that you get the bottom of the line service! Be careful of the bedbugs’ kind of hotel. Many of these motels cut out the extra frills, which is what drives up the cost to begin with. These hotels offer the basic needs for the travelers, which include comfort, effective utilities and much more. Many of these motels cater to the financially savvy business person. These consumers don’t typically care about a whole lot of added frills. They basically just need a place to work and sleep.

There are other benefits such as the many packages and perks of booking a cheap motel online. Some well known branded motel chains have begun to offer bonus rewards. If a person stays at these cheap motels or with one of their partners the costumer will gain reward points that can be turned in for free night stays, free meals with participating restaurants and more. Other promotions that are available are contests with prizes such as a free gas certificate. These motels also offer deals for many random reasons so it always good to check out their promotions.

These motels can really make a trip great. Not spending as much money on the hotel allows the traveler to spend more money on other things in the destination of choice. This can make many people very happy which in turn will make the trip all the more enjoyable.

Summary:

Cheap motels can really make a trip great. Not spending as much money on the hotel allows the traveler to spend more money on other things in the destination of choice. Many of these motels cut out the extra frills, which is what drives up the cost to begin with. These hotels offer the basic needs for the travelers, which include comfort, effective utilities and much more.
